The awakening go ashore, the unenlightened drift with the current.
Ngộ giả thượng ngạn, mê giả tùy ba trục lưu.
Hello everyone. I’m Ngọc Ngà, Vietnamese girl, born in 1982. You can also call me by my English name Louise. I live and work in Ho Chi Minh City. The food here is simply the best: delicious and cheap. Best city to eat IMHO.
A friend of mine once told me that, “You’re like a coconut: brown on the outside, white on the inside.” He is a Vietnamese descendant so he isn’t racist btw. I know there are a lot of Asian girls out there who are like me, open-minded and up for adventures.
Somewhere in my blog may be frank and sarcastic, but that’s the truth though I know it may hurt. “Half a loaf of bread is still bread, but a half truth is a lie.” Well, most of my friends know that I’m outspoken and dislike beating around the bush.
Until now, all I can say about my life is, “I started out with nothing and I’ve still got most of it left.” Though, I do believe that, “Life isn’t supposed to be a road map you could read. Living from day to day is far more exciting than having a master plan.”
I’m an avid traveler. I travel from Vietnam to 8 countries and territories: Cambodia, China, Thailand, Singapore, Australia, Taiwan, India, Laos, and hope for more. Check out my travel map and YouTube travel videos.
“And then you too will discover the great and curious truth of the human experience is that selflessness is the best thing you can do for yourself. The sweetest joys of life, then, come only with the recognition that you’re not special.” I wouldn’t say I am special; I prefer to think of myself as a limited edition or a prime number.
I’d like be friends with the ones who are on the same page.
