This morning, I went to explore the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain (Yulong Mountain) which was about 15km from the city of Lijiang. As I already guessed, it was quite hot there even though there was windy sometimes. The mountain doesn’t seem to have much snow left, or to be exact, there was stone with very few white touch on it.
Just when a woman told me that Chinese people were a little show off with oxygen in the hand without using it, I saw a girl collapsing right in front of my eyes.
In the afternoon, I visited a Naxi village called Jade Water Village (Yushuizhai) to learn a bit about the Dongba culture of people here.
Tomorrow, I’ll visit a higher place. I hope it’ll cooler there.
