The Strong And Weak Palaces Of A Woman
In Zi Wei Dou Shu, not all palaces carry the same weight for every person.
For women, certain palaces are considered stronger and others weaker. The six strong palaces are Fortune, Destiny, Body, Spouse, Wealth, and Children. The seven weak palaces are Parents, Friends, Property, Career, Travel, Health, and Siblings.
This article compares the two sisters palace by palace.
Fortune Palace
The Fortune palace describes family background and karma from extended family lines.
The elder sister’s Fortune palace carries Zi Wei and Tian Xiang. Zi Wei is the Emperor Star, associated with long-term blessings. Tian Xiang is aligned with Zi Wei, Lian Zhen, and Wu Qu, bringing favorable meaning for the family. The elder sister also carries Hua Quan, Tian Gui, and En Guang, all of which are auspicious. The result is a prestigious family lineage with a good reputation.
The younger sister’s Fortune palace also carries Zi Wei and Tian Xiang. But it also carries a number of dim inauspicious stars, including Ling Xing, Huo Xing, Tian Xing, Tian Yao, Tian Xu, Tian Ku, Di Kong, Di Jie, Tuo Luo, and Qing Yang. These stars weaken the palace.
The comparison shows that the elder sister has stronger family ties. This is supported by the fact that she has been closer to their cousins than the younger sister.
Destiny Palace
The Destiny palace describes the foundation of the life, the main axis, and innate fortune.
The elder sister’s Destiny palace carries Tan Lang in a dim state. Tan Lang aligned with Chang Sheng at the Tiger, Monkey, or Horse palace indicates longevity. The elder sister’s chart shows the Sha Po Lang constellation, which is a warrior formation. This suggests a masculine, strong-willed personality, honest and straightforward.
The younger sister’s Destiny palace carries Tan Lang with Jie at the main. Jie reduces the worst of bad stars and the best of good stars. The younger sister’s Destiny palace is worse than her sister’s in the first years. This is supported by the fact that the elder sister had a more favorable life in many aspects when they were young.
Body Palace
The Body palace describes the latter half of life, after the age of 34 or 35.
Both sisters have their Body palace in the same position as their Fortune palace. This means both are very concerned about family lineage. Many things happen in their lives that are not related to their own efforts, as if destiny has already been determined.
The Body palace carries the Zi Fu Wu Xiang constellation, which is better than the Sha Po Lang constellation at the Destiny palace. After turning 35, both sisters will have more blessings.
Spouse Palace
The Spouse palace describes love life, emotions, and the relationship with a spouse.
The elder sister’s Spouse palace carries Wu Qu and Tian Fu. Wu Qu at the Tiger or Snake palace, when meeting Hua Ji, suggests marriage interruption due to the husband’s illness, change of heart, or presence of a third party. The elder sister is currently single.
The younger sister’s Spouse palace carries Xun Kong at the main. Xun affects all life, though with weaker effect than Jie. Xun gets stronger after the age of 34. The younger sister’s Spouse palace is worse than her sister’s, because Xun also affects the brightness of the major stars. The younger sister had a failed marriage.
Wealth Palace
The Wealth palace describes money and the ability to manage finances.
The elder sister’s Wealth palace carries Po Jun. When Po Jun is at the Dragon or Dog palace, or aligned with Lian Zhen, money flow will be unstable. The elder sister also carries Ling Xing and Huo Xing, which suggest erratic and unpredictable fluctuations in wealth.
The younger sister’s Wealth palace also carries Po Jun, but without the bad effects of Di Kong without Di Jie, Tuo Luo without Qing Yang, and Ling Xing without Huo Xing. Her wealth is better than her sister’s. This is supported by the fact that the younger sister’s salary has been higher than the elder sister’s.
Children Palace
The Children palace describes the relationship with children and whether one has a strong predestined affinity with them.
Both sisters have not had children yet. The elder sister’s Children palace carries Tian Tong, which suggests two children, but with possible loss or separation. The younger sister’s Children palace carries Tian Tong as well, but with different minor stars.
The comparison shows that both sisters face similar challenges in this area, but the specific outcomes may differ.
Parents Palace
The Parents palace describes the relationship with parents.
The elder sister’s Parents palace carries Tian Ji and Ju Men, suggesting distant and unharmonious parents. This is supported by the fact that their parents used to argue when they were alive. The mother passed away when they were not yet 18 years old.
The younger sister’s Parents palace also carries Tian Ji and Ju Men, but with Jie at the main. Jie reduces the worst of bad stars and the best of good stars. The younger sister’s Parents palace is worse than her sister’s. This is supported by the fact that their parents treated the elder sister better than the younger sister.
Friends Palace
The Friends palace describes social relationships with friends, subordinates, and the quality of interpersonal skills.
Both sisters have similar Friends palaces, but the elder sister’s is slightly better. Without Xun Kong, the younger sister’s Friends palace is better than her sister’s, especially after turning 34.
Property Palace
The Property palace describes real estate and whether one owns many houses and land.
The elder sister has a keen interest in real estate and made her first investment in a condo before turning 40. Both sisters currently reside in the home inherited from their parents.
The younger sister’s Property palace is worse than her sister’s, with Lu Cun and Hua Ke at the opposite palace.
Career Palace
The Career palace describes the approach to occupation, projects, and undertakings.
The elder sister’s Career palace carries Qi Sha. If Qi Sha is at the Career palace, the person is likely to be military personnel. Both sisters advanced to management positions in their respective companies.
The younger sister’s Career palace is better than her sister’s, especially after turning 34. Without Xun Kong, the younger sister has an advantage in her professional life. The younger sister also carries Zou Shu, which suggests skill in writing.
Travel Palace
The Travel palace describes experiences away from home.
The elder sister’s Travel palace carries Lian Zhen. It is very good if Lian Zhen is alone at the Tiger or Monkey palace, or at the same palace as Tian Fu or Tian Xiang. The elder sister has good fortune and reputation.
The younger sister’s Travel palace is better than her sister’s in the first 35 years. The younger sister enjoys traveling and often brings her sister along. However, Tian Ma is dim, so she has only visited seven countries and territories so far.
Health Palace
The Health palace describes disease or ailment and whether it will be slight or critical.
Both sisters have the same Health palace configuration. The elder sister’s Health palace has no major star. There may not be many illnesses, but when they come, it is difficult to avoid. The presence of Jie is good, resulting in fewer illnesses and disasters.
The younger sister’s Health palace is better than her sister’s in the first 35 years. After that, when Jie’s influence waned, the elder sister’s health becomes better.
Siblings Palace
The Siblings palace describes the relationship and harmony with siblings.
The elder sister’s Siblings palace carries Tai Yang in a dim state. This is considered auspicious if Tai Yang is bright and not affected by harmful stars. The elder sister has stronger family ties with her siblings.
The younger sister’s Siblings palace carries Xun Kong at the main. Xun gets stronger after the age of 34. The younger sister’s Siblings palace is worse than her sister’s, which is supported by the fact that she is not as close to their siblings as the elder sister is.
What The Comparison Shows
Across the twelve palaces, the two sisters show both similarities and differences.
The elder sister has stronger family ties, a more favorable Fortune palace, and a more favorable Parents palace. The younger sister has a more favorable Wealth palace, Career palace, and Travel palace.
The differences are not random. They follow from the specific stars in each palace, the placement of the transforming stars, and the phase and cycle differences.
This is the central insight of the series. Two charts that share the same birth data can still produce very different lives. The differences are not errors. They are the system working as designed.
